The 2021 Wesham 10k will be held on Saturday 27th November 2021 at 10.00 am. Further details can be found on our website www.wesham10k.co.uk
UK Athletics licenced event. Licence 2021-42185. Certified measured course, course certificate number 16/379
The Wesham 10k is one of the North West’s oldest 10k road races. Held every November, the race is slightly undulating, running around the lanes of Salwick and Lea Town. The first Wesham 10k race in 1986 was completed by 154 runners. Since then the event has grown continually and regularly attracts a good quality, large field of runners. The Wesham 10k has sold out weeks before race day every year since 2016 and is quickly becoming one of the most popular races in the North West.
Entry includes a Wesham 10k tech T'shirt.
Prizes will be award to the first 3 male and female finishers. There will also be prizes for first junior male and female, and all masters categories from M40 to M80+ for men and W35 to W70+ for women.
We intend to start the race as a mass start, however you will be asked your estimated 10k time on the entry form in case restrictions change and we have to start the race in waves.
There is also a team prize for the first male and female team. This will be decided based on the position of the first 4 runners.
Entry is open to all aged 15 or above as of the race date.
£16 attached runners, £18 unattached runners. £2 discount is applied on verification of UKA number on entry form.
The facility to transfer numbers is available until Friday 12th November 2021.
Please note that there is no medal this year for the Wesham 10k, however we do hope to offer an extra memento in addition to the tshirt.
If you are an attached runner, please enter your full name as registered with uk athletics. The form checks entries with the uka list and only applies the £2 discount if the details match.
